"Apple Computers"

By: Steve Carter

Steve Carter

Steve Carter, Internet Manager for UC Irvine Book Store was our featured speaker. Steve updated us on the new Leopard operating system for the McIntosh as well as all the interesting features of his Apple Mac Book.

A good turnout was impressed with the ease of use of the McIntosh and many questions were fielded concerning the differences between Windows and McIntosh computers. There were at least 6 members present who have both Windows and McIntosh computers available to them at home.

Approximately 65 members out of 450 presently have Apples and that number will surely increase over the years, given the ease of use and new features built in to the Leapard operating system.
